This Privacy Policy applies to the Medricks mobile application and related pages hosted at learnmedricks.com and app.mbbsguidehelp.help. Medricks is an educational app for medical students. It provides academic content such as years, subjects, chapters, questions, explanations, nuggets, table-of-specification files, lecture links, bookmarks, and subscription-based access.
Medricks is for education and exam preparation. It is not a medical diagnosis, treatment, patient-care, or emergency-care service. Please do not submit patient records, clinical images, health history, or other personal medical information into the app.
Who We Are
In this policy, "Medricks", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the Medricks app and related services. You can contact us about privacy questions at support@app.mbbsguidehelp.help.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to create accounts, secure the service, deliver study features, verify subscriptions, and improve app reliability.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The Medricks Android app currently requests internet and network-state permissions. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, call log, or photo library permissions. We do not intentionally collect patient health records, clinical notes, diagnoses, treatment information, or payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
- Register, verify, authenticate, and manage user accounts.
- Deliver medical education content and personalize it by academic year.
- Provide bookmarks, premium access, subscription status, and profile features.
- Send email verification and password reset messages.
- Verify Google Play purchases and process subscription lifecycle events.
- Store local question-practice progress on your device.
- Monitor service reliability, fix errors, prevent abuse, and secure the app.
- Comply with platform, legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Legal Bases Where Required
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, protect our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, based on your consent.
Google Play Subscriptions
Paid access is purchased through Google Play. Google Play handles billing, payment methods, renewal, cancellation, refund handling, and payment security. We receive subscription verification information from Google Play so we can activate, maintain, or remove Medricks Premium access. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Firebase and Google Analytics
The app uses Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase to measure app usage and improve reliability. These services may collect app usage, device, performance, and diagnostic information. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's applicable privacy and service terms.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed for the service and the purposes described in this policy:
- With infrastructure providers that host the service and store educational files.
- With email delivery providers to send verification and password reset messages.
- With Google Play and Google services for subscriptions, purchase verification, analytics, diagnostics, and platform compliance.
- With authorized support or administrative users who need access to operate the app, resolve issues, or maintain content.
- With authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.
Local Device Storage
The app stores sign-in information and question-practice progress in secure app storage on your device. This helps keep you signed in and lets the app show progress, selected answers, and wrong questions. Local practice progress is removed when you log out or reset progress from the app.
Data Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Verification and password reset codes are temporary and expire. Subscription and payment verification records may be kept for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, and support purposes. Server logs, analytics, backup records, and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including protected password storage, secure sign-in, access controls, validation, abuse prevention, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can also log out of the app to remove locally stored sign-in information and practice progress from the device. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or request a copy of your data.
To make a privacy request, email support@app.mbbsguidehelp.help from the email address linked to your Medricks account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. We may retain limited information when required for security, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention.
Children's Privacy
Medricks is intended for medical students and adult learners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the issue.
International Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers and processing by service providers.
Third-Party Links and Content
The app may open external educational links, PDF files, YouTube or web lecture links, Google Play subscription pages, and other third-party resources. Those services have their own privacy practices and terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, service, subscription features, analytics, or legal requirements change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or showing an in-app notice. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last changed.
